“I am proud to have been recognized by the Suffolk County Police Asian Jade Society, whose effort to foster an understanding of Asian American culture is successfully building bridges among New York’s numerous law enforcement agencies,” said Presiding Officer Gregory. “By establishing trust among Asian communities and the SCPD, they are contributing to Suffolk County’s overarching goal of increasing public trust in our police force and building strong communities that appreciate diversity.”
The Suffolk County Police Asian Jade Society was founded by law enforcement officers in 2014 with the goal of establishing a network and bringing together the Asian-American members of the various law enforcement entities in New York State and Suffolk County.
