(Long Island, NY) Friday, April 16, 6:30-8:30pm, LAB at Queens Council on the Arts presents “Works in Progress” with Queens World Film Festival.” Hosted by Katha and Don Cato, co-founders of the Queens World Film Festival, this LAB presentation will provide the opportunity for filmmakers to screen 3-7 minutes of works-in-progress followed by a facilitated feedback session with other filmmakers and film professionals. Join us as we discuss what is next on the horizon for independent filmmakers.

Don and Katha will also share insights on many of the facets of film production from concept development to script writing and promotion. This will be a great opportunity for professionals in filmmaking to network and learn what film festival producers are looking for in new works. Don and Katha Cato are the founders of the Queens World Film Festival (QWFF).
