Erin McGuff, Director of In-Between The Lines Program
Join us for an evening in experimental performance exercises that you can take with you to influence your writing practice! This workshop encourages lovers of the pen to wean themselves off their computer screens and try writing from a new perspective. Convention tells us that writers put their words on the page, while actors put their bodies on stage. But we want to know: what happens if before writers put their words on the page, they put their bodies on stage?

The In-Between People is a community made up entirely of creative people with creative pursuits. The In-Between People have developed a performance method that examines the link between two performers on stage that in between space loaded with visceral, shared experience. The In-Between people invite writers to activate their senses, explore their physical impulses, and see where their bodies might take their words and then, in turn, where those resulting words might take their bodies.
