(Queens, NY) On Friday, April 4th, Queens Council on the Arts’ 3rd Space presents a Queens Artists Slam. Come join us as young emerging Queens artists across a range of disciplines come together to share new work and works-in-progress as diverse as our borough itself. These multidisciplinary performance artists will explore the boundaries of poetry, comedy, sculpture, video art and music.

3rd Space is a series of monthly events for local artists to build strong and vibrant artist networks and to creatively lead the continuing transformation of the borough’s cultural economy.

Admission includes a limited print zine published by Jerkpoet, showcasing works by artists living in the New York area who work in a variety of mediums. Light refreshments will be served.
The mission of the Queens Council on Arts is to foster, and develop the arts in Queens County and to support individual artists and arts organizations in presenting their cultural diversity for the benefit of the community.
