Hope For The Warriors® In-Store Promotion Begins June 6
(Long Island, NY) QuickChek Corporation, a market leader in food services dedicated to serving its communities, will be raising funds to help support post-9/11 service members and their families through an in-store donation program.
Customers are invited to purchase paper dog-tags for $1 at any of the company’s 140 store locations in the metropolitan area beginning Saturday, June 6 through July 18, 2015 to benefit Hope For The Warriors®, a non-profit organization whose mission is to enhance the quality of life for post-9/11 service members, their families, and families of the fallen who have sustained physical and psychological wounds in the line of duty.

All of the funds raised will stay in local areas to help support local veterans. QuickChek opened its first Long Island store at 2686 Middle Country Road in Lake Grove.
“We pride ourselves in being active members of the communities we serve and we’re pleased to continue to honor and support our service members and their families who give so much of themselves,” said QuickChek CEO Dean Durling, whose family-owned-company has raised millions of dollars to support a variety of causes benefiting children, families, and veterans.
The fresh convenience market chain first ran a similar promotion last September, raising $75,000 in just four weeks. The program has been warmly embraced by QuickChek store leaders, customers in two states and the service organization. Each dog-tag that is purchased will be signed and posted on the walls of each of the company’s stores throughout Long Island, New Jersey, and the Hudson Valley.
Hope For The Warriors® is dedicated to restoring a sense of self, restoring the family unit, and restoring hope for service members and military families. It has earned a Four-Star rating from Charity Navigator for four consecutive years, an independent organization that evaluates fiscal responsibility and accountability for non-profits.
“We strive to be the neighborhood shopping destination close to where our customers live and work,” added Durling, whose company’s commitment to “Total Customer Dedication” enables it to be part of the fabric of the communities in which the company has store locations. “As a good neighbor, we believe in helping those in need by giving back where we can and lending our support.”
