(Long Island, NY) Assemblyman Ed Ra has begun the 2014 Legislative Session with a specific goal in mind: reforming the flawed Common Core standards that have caused mass student and teacher disillusionment and frustration. Ra has hosted eleven statewide forums concerning this serious situation and is planning to unveil his report to remedy this in the near future.
Ra discussed his priorities and plan to fix Common Core in an interview today, which can be seen below:
“In 2014, our first priority should be providing the best education possible for our children,” said Ra. “Reforming Common Core is crucial to accomplishing that and I look forward to presenting my plan to make that happen in the near future.”
