(Westbury, NY) The eagerly anticipated opening of what will soon become Long Island’s premier performance & special events destination, The Space at Westbury will be held on September 17, 4:30 PM.
Formerly the long abandoned Westbury Theater, the venue under the direction of Cyrus Hakakian and his partners in Lowe Properties, has been amazingly transformed into a first-class space for live performance and special events. Hakakian and his team will launch a full series of live performances beginning in the mid-fall in association with one of the country’s leading live entertainment providers, The Bowery Presents, and will also make the elegant space available for fundraisers, corporate events, weddings, Bar & Bas Mitzvahs.
The event will consist of the Official Ribbon Cutting, a Presentation by The Space at Westbury Management, Introduction of The Bowery Presents, Announcement of the Initial Attractions and a Demonstration of the various uses for this multi-functional space. There will also be a unique Sound & Light Show and behind the scenes guided tours of the back stage.
