(Long Island, NY) Suffolk County Police Pattern Crime Unit detectives are investigating a robbery that occurred at a Ridge bank on Monday, December 21.
A man entered Astoria Bank, located at 1880 Middle Country Road, at 2:48 p.m. and handed a teller a note that demanded cash. The teller complied with the man’s demands and gave him cash. The man fled on foot westbound through the parking lot.

The suspect was described as light skinned, possibly Hispanic, approximately 5 feet 6 to 5 feet 7 inches with a medium build. He was wearing jeans, a blue jacket, tan shoes, possibly work boots, sunglasses and a baseball hat with a light-colored brim.
