(Long Island, NY) Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and detectives from the Town of Riverhead Police Department are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate two men wanted in connection with the shooting of two people in Riverhead earlier this month.
Riverhead Police responded to the corner of Grove Street and South Oakland Drive after a 911 caller reported two people had been shot at approximately 10:30 p.m. on August 1. When police arrived, they found a female, 18, and a male, 19, each with a gunshot wound to their arm. They were transported to Stony Brook University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

One man is described as black, late 20s to early 30s, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall with a thin build. The other man is described as black, in his early 20s and approximately 5 feet 10 tall.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
