(Rockville Centre, NY) Rockville Centre Police Department announces arrest of Damien Whitmore of 66 E Pleasant Av, Roosevelt, NY. At 0313 hours a call was received for two suspicious males on Woods Ave.
Units were dispatched to investigate and Nassau County Police Department 4th Precinct was notified. At approximately 0348 hours an RVCPD unit attempted to stop the subject and the subject fled. The subject was stopped and located on S. Lewis Pl, Rockville Centre, NY. A search of the area revealed proceeds from numerous car larcenies.
Whitmore has been charged with 15 counts of larceny and criminal possession of stolen property along with criminal trespass. He is being arraigned today at Nassau County First District Court.
