(Rockville Centre, NY) Rockville Centre Mayor Francis X. Murray and the Department of Senior Service’s Sandel Senior Center sponsored a senior walk across the Brooklyn Bridge.
32 members of the Sandel SPA (Senior People in Action) Group were recently bussed into New York City where they took part in a 1.3-mile walk across the iconic Brooklyn Bridge. Members enjoyed views of the Statue of Liberty, New York Harbor, the East River and the Manhattan skyline.
Afterwards they took in the sights in the trendy DUMBO neighborhood in Brooklyn.
