(Long Island, NY) The Major Case Bureau reports the arrest of a Rockville Centre man on Friday, December 11, 2015 at 8:30 am in Lynbrook for Grand Larceny.
According to Crimes Against Property detectives, the defendant Robert Cosme, 25, while employed by Ace North Shore Door Inc., located at 207 Vincent Avenue, Lynbrook did remove checks from the business checkbook.

Between April 2015 and July 2015 the defendant did cash checks at multiple check cashing establishments causing a loss of over eighteen thousand dollars ($18,000) to the victim. The defendant surrendered to Crimes Against Property detectives on December 11, 2015.
Cosme is charged with Grand Larceny 3rd degree and four (4) counts of Possession of a Forged Instrument 2nd degree. He was arraigned onFriday, December 11, 2015 at First District Court in Hempstead.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty. Defendants are entitled to a fair trial with the burden on the prosecution to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
