(Rockville Centre, NY) One of Rockville Centre’s own, Crystal Dunn, has been nominated as Best Female College Athlete for the 2013 ESPYS. The brilliant UNC midfielder, and graduate of SSHS, led the Tar Heels to the 2012 NCAA Women’s College Cup victory with wins over Penn State in the final and a game-winning assist in double overtime against Stanford in the semifinals. She is currently a member of the US Women’s National Soccer Team.
