(Long Island, NY) Today, Senator Jack Martins (R-C-I, Mineola) announced the welcoming of Mohawk Valley Community College basketball player, Dillon Williams and State University of Albany high jumper, Alex Bowen to the State Capitol when the Elmont athletes and outstanding scholars visited the Senator in Albany this week.

They shadowed Senator Martins for the day attending several meetings and observing the legislative session. Senator Martins congratulated both young men for their academic and athletic success praising Dillon for his excellent college basketball achievements and Alex for being named an All-American high jumper as well as for his impressive 11th place finish at the 2013 NCAA Championships.
