(Long Island, NY) SCO Family of Services’ will honor Joseph A. Deal of Sayville, engineer and partner at Bohler Engineering, at the Treiber Memorial Golf Open September 10th. The event will take place at two of the area’s premier golf clubs, Meadow Brook Club in Jericho and The Creek in Locust Valley. Mr. Deal and his family have been involved with SCO’s Madonna Heights programs in Dix Hills for more than 20 years. SCO is a leading provider of vital human services, producing life-changing results for more than 60,000 vulnerable children, youth, families and adults at more than 110 locations in communities throughout New York City and Long Island.

Nearly 200 golfers are expected to participate in this year’s event, which is chaired by Thomas J. Fanning Sr., H. Craig Treiber, Brian Edwards and Lee Vance. Golf will be followed by cocktails and dinner, an award presentation and a live auction at The Creek Beach House in Locust Valley. Proceeds will support SCO’s services, with more than 93 cents of every dollar raised going directly into programs.
