(West Islip, NY) After graduating from Copiague High School, 17-year-old Amityville resident Devante Faines-Grandison earned Boy Scouts’ highest honor by completing his Eagle Project. He organized a toy drive through local merchants, churches and family members, collecting more than 1000 toys for children in Good Samaritan Hospital’s Pediatric Unit.
