(Long Island, NY) Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Third Squad detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in locating the individuals involved in a hit and run that occurred in Central Islip.
On Wednesday, January 13, at approximately 6:35 a.m. a 16-year-old girl who was walking to school sustained serious injuries after she was struck by a vehicle on Cinnamon Street and Cone Avenue. The vehicle is described as a dark-colored two-door sedan with possible front end and windshield damage.

The driver is described as a Hispanic male approximately 25 to 30 years old. A Hispanic female was in the passenger seat of the vehicle.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
