(Long Island, NY) Suffolk County Police arrested a Ronkonkoma man for taking pictures underneath a woman’s dress without her consent at a Lake Grove store on Tuesday, March 22.
Scott Coleman approached a 23-year-old woman from behind in Macy’s, located at 2 Smith Haven Mall, and took photos underneath her dress without her knowledge at approximately 8 p.m.

The woman became suspicious of the man’s presence behind her and notified store security. Store security officers notified police and a subsequent investigation confirmed Coleman took photos of the woman.
Coleman, 24, was charged with Unlawful Surveillance 2nd Degree and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip today.
Detectives are asking anyone with information on this case or anyone who believes they may be a victim of a similar crime to call the Fourth Squad at 631-854-8452.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty. Defendants are entitled to a fair trial with the burden on the prosecution to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
