(Long Island, NY) Suffolk County Police Pattern Crime Unit detectives are investigating a robbery that occurred on Thursday, July 2 at a North Babylon bank.
A man entered Capital One, located at 1383 Deer Park Ave., at approximately 9:50 a.m. and approached a teller with a note demanding cash. The teller gave the man cash from the drawer and the suspect fled on foot in an unknown direction.

The robber is described as white, 6 feet to 6 feet 2 inches tall with a thin build. He was wearing a baseball cap, sunglasses, a light-colored T-shirt and blue jeans.
Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
