(Long Island, NY) Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Sixth Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who stole money from a wallet at a Centereach store earlier this year.
A woman left her wallet in the seat of a shopping cart at Walmart, located at 161 Centereach Mall, and it was stolen by a man while the woman was shopping on July 7 at approximately 10 p.m.

The wallet was later located by store employees and $2,000 was missing from the wallet.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
