A resident of Seaford, Dean has earned the admiration of many at CHS for the respect she extends toward others. One of her colleagues described her as “caring, warm and knowledgeable”, while others noted her collegiality in assisting staff from other departments, as well as her own. In addition, Dean provides guidance to less experienced staff members and has significantly contributed to the esprit de corps of the organization.
Dean is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association and the Medical Group Management Association. She has been with CHS since 2010, when the former New Island Hospital, where she was a senior accountant, joined the system as St. Joseph Hospital. Since then, Dean has been promoted at CHS first to physician acquisition analyst and most recently to assistant director.
Catholic Health Services (CHS) is an integrated system encompassing some of the region’s finest health and human services agencies. With six acute care hospitals, three nursing homes, a home health agency, hospice, a community-based agency for persons with special needs and a regional lab, CHS’s high standards have resulted in a nearly 24% market share.
