(Long Island, NY) Senate Democratic Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins will join Western New York Senators Tim Kennedy and Marc Panepinto to discuss the heroin and opioid abuse crisis impacting the region and all of New York State. Following the press conference, the Senators will tour Horizon Village’s Terrace House Residential Treatment Center.
Democratic Leader Stewart-Cousins will outline multiple bills that the Senate Democrats have introduced to confront the opioid abuse epidemic, and will join Senators Kennedy and Panepinto in calling for more state aid to be provided to the Western New York region to combat addiction and promote additional treatment options.
Following the press conference, the Senators will tour Horizon Village’s Terrace House Residential Treatment Center with Horizon President and CEO Anne Constantino.
