(Long Island, NY) Senator Kemp Hannon (R-Nassau) announces a FREE Senior Event, “The Golden Years – Keeping It All In Balance,” to be held on Thursday, September 10, 2015, at St. Paul’s Cluett Hall (295 Stewart Avenue, Garden City). The event takes place from 7:00 to 8:30 pm.
“At this special event, seniors and their friends and family can learn about the many reasons people fall, the incidence of this issue, and tips to help ensure a safer environment and body movements,” said Hannon. “The orthopedic check will focus on osteoporosis, arthritis, joint and hip replacements. There will also be discussion of differences between normal age-related forgetfulness versus symptoms indicative of a developing cognitive problem, and stress management to improve physical and emotional well-being.”

There will be four featured speakers, each of whom will address a topic, and there will be a question and answer session for participants and speakers.
