(Long Island, NY) “Flu season is just around the corner,” said Senator Kemp Hannon. “The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends a yearly flu vaccine, and people should begin getting vaccinated soon, if they aren’t already. As long as flu viruses are circulating in the community, it’s not too late to get vaccinated.”
The FREE Flu shot Immunization program is sponsored by Senator Hannon and Walgreens.

The clinic will take place on Thursday, November 12, 2015 (from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm) at the North Massapequa Fire Department, located at 1000 N. Broadway in North Massapequa.
There is no out-of pocket expense, and those receiving the flu shot should arrive early to complete required forms. Wear loose-fitting clothing and have proper ID and primary insurance/Medicare card if applicable. Flu shots are available to anyone over the age of 18, and are preservative free.
RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED, and can be made by calling Senator Hannon’s Community Office at 516-739-1700.
