In conjunction with NYS Tax Department & Bethpage Credit Union
(Long Island, NY) “With tax season upon us, I’d like to invite you to take advantage of a FREE tax preparation and tax counseling session I am hosting on Friday, March 11th, at Levittown Hall (201 Levittown Parkway in Hicksville, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm), if your income is $62,000 or less,” said Senator Kemp Hannon (R-Nassau). “This is a free service from the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program (VITA) provided by Bethpage Credit Union.”

The New York State Tax Department will guide individuals through the tax preparation software available on their website, as they prepare and E-file their Federal and State income tax returns on laptops the Tax Department will provide. E-file income tax is a fast, safe, accurate, and free way to file a tax return.
