(Long Island, NY) Senator Kemp Hannon (R-Nassau) announces his Annual Senior Health Expo takes place on Thursday, October 8, 2015, at the St. Paul’s Field House (295 Stewart Avenue, Garden City), from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
The Health Expo features FREE flu vaccinations, pneumonia shots, Alzheimer’s Disease testing, postural and spinal screening, cholesterol & glucose tests, free civil legal assistance, blood pressure checks, balance screening, oral cancer screening, BMI checks, cardiovascular screening and much more! No appointments are needed, and there is no out-of-pocket cost to anyone.
Attendees can also obtain or renew a U.S. Passport (certain fees apply), receive a free Senior ID, as well as drop off unwanted or expired prescriptions and sharps in a safe and secure manner. Mammography appointments are also available, but an appointment is required (please call 516-739-1700 to schedule a time).
