March 10th At VFW Post 2718, Franklin Square
(Long Island, NY) “As part of my series of upcoming senior events, I’m pleased to announce a ‘Brown Bag Medication Review’ program,” said Senator Kemp Hannon (R-Nassau).
Seniors are asked to gather all of their medications (prescriptions, over-the-counter medications and supplements), put them in a ‘brown bag’ (or other container) and bring them to the VFW Post #2718, located at 68 Lincoln Road, in Franklin Square (between 10:00 and 11:00 am). At this event, seniors will sit down with a pharmacist or pharmacy intern, one-on-one, to review those medications.
Upon completion of the review, the senior will be provided with a personal medication record.
