(Long Island, NY) Senator Tom Croci, in conjunction with the Suffolk County Department of Health Emergency Medical Services, will host a free course to train participants how to recognize an opioid overdose and how to administer the life-saving drug Naloxone (Narcan).
Participants will receive a certificate of completion and an emergency resuscitation kit that includes Narcan, as well as training on steps to take until EMS arrives to the scene.
All participants must be over 18 years of age and must pre-register online at: www.croci.nysenate.gov.
