Get Involved, Network with Concerned Seniors, Let Your Own Voice Be Heard
(Middle Village, NY) Ms. Shirley Singer, a retired kosher deli business owner in Howard Beach, now volunteers two days weekly at the Middle Village senior center as its trip coordinator. She recently was guest speaker at the Ozone Park Civic Association, among other local groups where she has been networking.

Become involved with this new Queens nonprofit called Seniors United for an Equitable America: Shirley Singer will discuss how you can join and become a powerful force advocating for issues important to seniors, like the future of Social Security and Medicare and of senior centers. Guest speakers/elect-eds who wish to address relevant topics for our seniors are welcome at these monthly meetings.
Who: Howard Beach resident Shirley Singer; Rabbi Richard Levy, Director, and members of Middle Village Adult Center; all other Queens seniors who want to join the group and advocate for interests relevant and important to older adults.
Meets 2nd and 4th Thursdays; July meetings are July 11, July 25, 1 – 2:30 PM
August meetings are Aug. 8, Aug. 22, 1 – 2:30 PM at the Middle Village Adult Center, 69-10 75th St., Middle Village (upstairs computer room); 718-894-3441
