(HEMPSTEAD, NY) Officers of the South Hempstead Fire Department were sworn into office at the 109th Annual Inspection & Installation Dinner at the Coral House. Family, neighbors and fellow first responders saluted outgoing Chief Luke Newbold.

Village of Rockville Centre Mayor Francis X. Murray was also on hand to thank Chief Newbold for his dedication and service to the community.
