(Long Island, NY) St. John the Baptist Diocesan High School seniors, Matthew Considine of Lindenhurst and Victoria Martin of West Islip, were recently honored at the St. Vincent De Paul Communion Breakfast on May 3rd as the creators of the winning entry of the First Annual St. Vincent De Paul Youth Media Challenge.
These students, under the tutelage of advisor Mr. Carl Coulanges, used still photos and raw footage from Young Vincentian events to compile a video that will be used to promote the good works of Young Vincentians. “I don’t know of a more fitting way to represent the Young Vincentian ministry than to have a video about them created by some of their peers at St. John the Baptist. The talents of all students involved… are showcased beautifully” said Terri Zenobio, Director of Conference Life and Young Vincentians. Mr. Coulanges stated “we are truly honored and blessed to accept the first annual award”.
