An Evening of Performances with Cass Dillon & Friends to Benefit Stepping Stone Support Helping Local Families Affected by Cancer
(Long Island, NY) Stepping Stone Support, an all-volunteer, nonprofit 501 c(3) organization dedicated to helping men and women affected by cancer, recently announced plans for a Benefit Concert on Friday, December 4th, 7:00PM at Jamesport Meeting House, 1590 Main Road, Jamesport, NY. All proceeds directly benefit local families affected by cancer. Annually, SSS adopts local cancer patients in treatment and their children during the holiday season through its Survivor’s Little Helper Program.
Survivor’s Little Helpers deliver to local families new, wrapped gifts, toys, winter necessity items, in home beauty services, prepared meals, and more during the 1st week of December.

SSS selects Survivor’s Little Helper recipients, cancer patients in treatment who have children at home, through a nomination process and adopts these families to lessen the financial burden of the holidays. Survivor’s Little Helper tries to make a lasting holiday memory on the lives of those they touch. Survivor’s Little Helpers hold toy drives, shop, wrap, cook, bake, and deliver. Holiday Spirit and Joy are shared by all involved in the program, making the holidays a time to Celebrate.
“Survivor’s Little Helpers bring joy to families during a time of sadness and hardship. By creating a holiday season filled with caring, compassion, and giving we are creating a holiday these families will never forget. Stepping Stone Support’s Benefit Concert is the perfect time for everyone to come together, enjoy fine wine and music, while making a difference in the lives of others.” says Reneé Lynn Scott, Founder and Director of Stepping Stone Support.
New York artist manager/consultant Stefano DiBenedetto of The Hang Productions ( Billy Joel – Linkin Park – Joan Jett – Lou Reed – Skylar Grey – Cass Dillon – Natasha Owens – Kim Vogels – SEE ) has assembled a community of amazing talent to host the concert, with sponsorships that include: Donielle Cardinale of Daniel Gale / Sotheby’s International Realty, Lieb Cellars, Steve Madden, Betsey Johnson, Cottage Pharmacy & Surgical, Jamesport Meeting House, One Clique, and raffles donated by several local businesses. A Silent Auction will also be held with items of art, apparel, footwear, autographed paraphernalia, and more.
Cass Dillon was born and raised on Long Island, and started his musical journey on his father’s drum set as a child. He then branched out to guitar, started writing songs in the basement of the house he grew up in, and was instantly addicted to the craft of making music. Just a couple years after his first performance in a coffee shop, Cass met and worked with legendary musical icon, Billy Joel. Cass was chosen by Billy Joel to record and perform the song “Christmas in Fallujah” which Mr. Joel wrote after years of retirement from songwriting. All proceeds (over $500,000) from the song went to “Homes for the Troops”. Cass has also been seen opening for other notable artists Gavin DeGraw and One Republic and has performed on several network TV shows, including Katie Couric on CBS, FOX and Friends Morning Show on FOX, The Early Show News on CBS, and The Second Cup Cafe on FOX.
Also performing along with Cass Dillon will be Kim Vogels, SEE, Bobby Chucka, Ryan Rickenbach, and Scruffy Pearls!
Bringing together two great organizations to help families affected by cancer during the holidays, you won’t want to miss your chance to help on Friday, December 4 at Jamesport Meeting House, 1590 Main Road, Jamesport, NY 11947!
