(Long Island, NY) Story Surprise, a new children’s book subscription website recently donated more than $6,000 in new books to the Boys & Girls Club of Suffolk County. These hardcover books stocked the library shelves of their after school program. The effort is part of Story Surprise’s “5,000 Books” program. The program sets out to donate new books to worthwhile organizations in an effort to get more books in the hands of children to promote literacy.
