(Long Island, NY) Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad and Arson Section detectives are investigating a fire that killed a woman in Holtsville on Sunday, December 13.
Suffolk County Police Sixth Precinct officers responded to a 911 call of a house fire at a residence on Mary Lu Drive at approximately 12:20 p.m.

Holtsville Fire Department responded and upon entry, located Annette Larusso, 65, of that address within the home. Larusso was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital where she succumbed to her injures.
The investigation is continuing.
