Department will increase presence at Suffolk County locations
(Long Island, NY) Suffolk County Police are announcing increased patrols around Planned Parenthood locations in the police jurisdiction following the shooting that occurred in Colorado Springs, Colorado today.
While no specific threats have been made toward Planned Parenthood locations in Suffolk County, the department will enhance patrols and remain in contact with other law enforcement agencies for the most up-to-date information regarding the potential for similar attacks.
A member of the department is available this evening to speak to members of the media regarding the department’s enhanced patrols.
