(Long Island, NY) Suffolk County Police officers helped deliver a baby girl in Medford on Sunday, July 19.
Officers James Caporale and Paul Rocchio responded to a 911 call at approximately 7:15 a.m. at a residence located on Southaven Ave., Medford. When the officers arrived, they observed a 37-year-old woman in active labor.

The officers assisted the mother in delivering a healthy baby girl.
Both mother and daughter were transported via Medford Volunteer Ambulance to Stony Brook University Hospital.
