(Long Island, NY) Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Fourth Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who attempted to rob a Ronkonkoma gas station in November.

A man entered BP Gas, located at 85 Church St., on November 30 at 9:09 p.m., approached an attendant and displayed a handgun. The attendant pushed the suspect and the suspect fled on foot west on Church Street without proceeds.

The robber was described as white, thin, approximately 6 feet tall with short hair. He was wearing a gray sweatshirt and a mask.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
