(Lindenhurst, NY) Suffolk County Police, in conjunction with the Suffolk County Probation Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation, arrested a Lindenhurst man who held a teen and a woman against their will for prostitution.
A search warrant was executed at 258 North Greene Ave. in Lindenhurst and officers and agents discovered a 15-year-old female, who had run away from home, and a 21-year-old female in the residence. The two were being held against their will by Andy Gayot, who lived at the residence, and forced them to engage in acts of prostitution.

Gayot, 35, was charged with Compelling Prostitution, three counts of Promoting Prostitution, Rape 3rd Degree, Criminal Sex Act 3rd Degree, Unlawful Imprisonment, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd Degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 4th Degree and other felony and misdemeanor charges.
Gayot was scheduled for arraignment today at First District Court in Central Islip.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty. Defendants are entitled to a fair trial with the burden on the prosecution to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
