(Long Island, NY) Suffolk County Police on Wednesday, September 30 arrested four teens for damaging soccer fields in Northport earlier this month.
Following an investigation by Second Squad detectives, four people were arrested for driving a vehicle on soccer fields at the Northport Soccer Complex, located on Eaton’s Neck Road, sometime between September 11 at 9 p.m. and September 12 at 7 a.m. The estimated damage was $10,000.

The following people were arrested and charged with Criminal Mischief 2nd Degree, a D felony:
- Nicholas Collins, 17, of Greenlawn
- Eric Lamay, 17, of Greenlawn
- Michael Plackis, 17, of East Northport
- Julius Dimino, 17, of East Northport
They are scheduled to be arraigned today at First District Court in Central Islip.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty. Defendants are entitled to a fair trial with the burden on the prosecution to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
