(Long Island, NY) Suffolk County Police Pattern Crime Unit detectives are investigating a bank robbery that occurred on Tuesday, September 29 in East Farmingdale.
A man entered Chase, located at 1745 Broad Hollow Road, at 12:54 p.m., approached a teller and demanded cash. The teller did not comply and the suspect fled on foot east through the parking lot.

The suspect was described as white, 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, approximately 30 to 40 years old with a medium build. He was wearing a dark-colored sweatshirt with jeans.
The investigation is continuing. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
