Suffolk County Police today arrested Kerwyn Jaggernauth for the murder of Sonja Williams. Homicide Squad detectives charged Jaggernauth with Murder 2nd Degree. He will be arraigned at a later date.

(Long Island, NY) Suffolk County Police Homicide detectives are investigating an incident in which a woman was found dead inside her home and her husband was also found there with serious injuries on Saturday, February 20.
First Precinct Patrol officers responded to a 911 call at a residence at Sheffield Avenue, West Babylon yesterday at approximately 2:25 p.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered Sonja Williams, 32, dead and her husband, Kerwyn Jaggernauth, 31, with serious injuries inside their home.

Williams was pronounced dead at the scene by a physician assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner. Jaggernauth was transported to an area hospital where he is listed in critical condition.
