(Long Island, NY) Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Fourth Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate a man who stole items from a store in Smithtown in September.
A man entered the Walgreens located at 10 East Main St. Smithtown on September 27 at approximately 7:05 p.m., approached the pharmacy counter and asked for four boxes of One Touch Test Strips for a blood glucose monitor. When the pharmacy employee walked away from counter, the man took the boxes and fled the store.

The man is described as black, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall. He was wearing a black shirt, jeans and eyeglasses.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
