A man entered Carvel, located at 51 Route 25A, reached over the counter and stole more than $600 from the register on September 20 at approximately 8:50 p.m.

The man was described as white, approximately 25 to 30 years old with a thin build. He was wearing a baseball cap with a star emblem on the front.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
