(Long Island, NY) Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Seventh Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate two men and a woman who stole three flags that were on display at a park in Mastic Beach.

On August 23, 2015 at approximately8:35 p.m., two men and one womanwere caught on surveillance video climbing the flagpole at Osprey Park, located on Oceanview Drive in Mastic Beach, and removing the three flags from the pole. The stolen flags were an American flag, a Prisoner of War flag and a Town of Brookhaven flag.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
