(Long Island, NY) Suffolk County Legislature Presiding Officer DuWayne Gregory attended the retirement celebration of Melville Chamber of Commerce President Michael DeLuise on June 22 at The Refuge restaurant in Melville.
Michael DeLuise, a co-founder of the Melville Chamber of Commerce, has served as the Chamber President since its incarnation. The Melville-East Farmingdale Chamber of Commerce was incorporated in 2002 with a mission to promote economic and business development in a coordinated effort of business, available resources within the community and the Chamber.

Over his 14 years of service, Mr. DeLuise’s leadership helped the Melville Chamber thrive, working together with business leaders, community leaders and elected officials to improve the quality of life for both the business community and residents of the area. Today, the chamber has more than 450 corporate members from all corners of the Melville/East Farmingdale area.
“It was a pleasure to be able to celebrate with Michael DeLuise and present him with a proclamation for his years of commitment to the local business community,” said Presiding Officer Gregory. “On behalf of the residents of Suffolk County, I would like to congratulate and thank him for an exemplary and accomplished career as president of the Melville Chamber.”
