(Long Island, NY) Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Seventh Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s help to identify the man who stole a pair of sneakers from a store in Shirley this July.
A man entered Famous Footwear, located at 1017 Montauk Highway on July 21 at approximately 8:15 p.m. and fled the store after stealing a pair of Nike sneakers.

The suspect is described as a light-skinned male, approximately 25-30 years-old, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall with dark hair and a full beard. He was wearing a white t-shirt and long pants. He entered the store wearing a black backpack.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
