(Long Island, NY) The Fourth Squad is investigating a Robbery that occurred on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at 7:05 am in Cedarhurst.
According to detectives, a 57 year old male victim was walking near the Cedarhurst train station (southbound on Cedarhurst Avenue), when an unknown male subject approached him from behind and demanded that he kick off his shoes. The victim complied. The subject then demanded money. Again, the victim complied.

The subject fled the scene in an unknown direction.
There were no reported injuries or further description of the subject. Proceeds were an undetermined amount of US currency and Nike sneakers.
