(Long Island, NY) Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Fourth Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who attempted to steal a television set from a store in Islandia in August.

A man entered the Walmart, located at 1850 Veterans Memorial Highway, at approximately 5:15 p.m. and walked out of the store with a 48 inch Vizio flat screen TV. When the man was confronted by store employees, he left the TV and fled. The suspect was wearing a white t-shirt, has multiple tattoos and was last seen in a dark-colored Nissan Maxima.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
