(Long Island, NY) The First Squad reports the arrest of a Hempstead man for several burglaries in Nassau County on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at 12:00 P.M.
According to detectives, on January 14, 2014 an unknown suspect pried open the rear door of T-Mobile wireless, located at 1199 Grand Avenue in Baldwin and removed undisclosed proceeds.
On May 5, 2015 an employee at Cocos Pub, located at 862 Nassau Road, Uniondale arrived to work and discovered an unknown suspect had pried open the rear door and removed undisclosed proceeds.
On May 31, 2015 an employee of the Ruby Deli, located at 151 Nassau Road, discovered an unknown suspect had broken in and removed an undisclosed amount of cash from the register.

After an investigation Dwayne L. Williams, 42, was located at Queens Criminal Court and placed under arrest for the above crimes. During arrest processing the defendant was found to be wanted for a Burglary which occurred on May 18, 2012 at a Clinton C. Boone Place home. Williams had entered the rear door of a home and removed four televisions and a phone.
The defendant is charged with three counts of Burglary 3rd degree and one count of Burglary 2nd degree. He will be arraigned on Friday, June 12, 2015 at First District Court in Hempstead.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty. Defendants are entitled to a fair trial with the burden on the prosecution to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
