(Long Island, NY) Artists from the Long Island Craft Guild will be showing and selling original works of art in clay, glass, fiber, metal and paper at their Third Annual Fine Craft Fair on Saturday, November 21 from 10 AM to 4 PM at the Ethical Humanist Society. Unique gifts include hand-dyed silk scarves in shimmering colors, glass platters, silver bracelets with semi-precious stones and ceramic casseroles.
Admission and parking are free. The Ethical Humanist Society will hold a fund-raising snack sale during the fair. The EHS building, at 38 Old Country Road in Garden City, is two miles west of Meadowbrook Parkway next to the blue water tower. The Long Island Craft Guild is committed to the development of the crafts movement, and seeks to promote the exchange of information and experiences that will benefit both artists and the community. Membership in the Guild is open to all people interested in the creation and exhibition of fine craft. The LICG is an independent, non-profit educational organization.
